This is a neat idea, and I like exploring (or at least at attempting to) a world with our powers while trying to manage our parents' over-protectiveness. I'm very curious to see more and try pushing back against our parents' attempts to keep us "safe," especially given how they seem to have very specific expectations for us (or at least Dad does, given how he acts if you don't ask about the missing desk). I do have some questions, though: how old is the protagonist? Middle school aged, high school aged? Or do you intend to leave their age undefined? Additionally, what kind of powers do we actually have? It would be particularly ironic if we had some kind of super durability or were near-invincible, like Superman or something. I look forward to more!
